Heat related corrosion caused by the exhaust system in the bed tubes of Cessna 180/182 engine mounts has been discovered on many aircraft. Loree Air, Inc. designed and built the first set of heat shields in 1987. They were flight tested for many years and found to stop ALL damage from that source. The heat shield kit is now FAA approved and ready for installation on your aircraft. All hardware is included as well as installation instructions and the STC.
